Dear Melody!

Stephan and I send you the best, greatest and sunniest
(even if it is raining here) from the USA.
Stephan is studying at the Old Miss in Oxford Mississippi 
and I'm visiting him for 1 month.
Our week in Florida was great 
(you can see it in the picture) 
and we enjoyed every minute.
We really miss you and hope to see you again soon!

It was such a lovely surprise to hear from you and Stephan so soon!
I think I remember it wasn't too long ago when we Whatsapped and you said he was going to the USA to study soon and that you will go visit him there.

I definitely remember asking you to send me a postcard when you're there and you fulfilled my request so quickly! :)

You both are definitely one of my favourite German couples and I know you know who the other couple is XD hahahaha

Please go to Ireland only in SUMMER.
It was just too freezing, windy and hailing!!

You're absolutely right. I loved the stamps. I've always loved collecting stamps and admiring the beautiful pictures used to represent or symbolize something of value or importance in a particular country and the stamps you sent were perfect :)

I miss the raw beauty of Nature at Giant's Causeway. I miss the waves pounding relentlessly upon the rocks, dashing against them with such power, with foam flying everywhere and the wind howling in my ears til I could hardly hear my friends call.

And of course you're right again. I love everything and anything to send to me because really, it's the thought that counts. And to imagine you wearing mittens in the cold, scrawling the words onto the postcard before sending it is good enough for me XD

The thing I can't get enough of is actually the fact that you sent me the exact same postcard I kept for myself the first time I visited Giant's Causeway :) We may not have the same taste for everything but I have to say we do click on quite a few stuff, namely certain genres of music, movies and places of interest to visit :) Lots of artsy stuff come to think of it LOL XD

I don't quite remember how many times I've said it  but thank you again for the postcards :)

Why I decided to start the CameronSnailMailTrail blog?

Why I decided to start this blog

Coming home once every few weeks and finding surprises in the mailbox is definitely one of the highlights of my coming home.

And I felt that instead of just keeping the physical postcards and letters in my personal chest of treasures, where it might (touchwood) be destroyed in a fire, go missing, be chewed to bits by nasty little rodents or whatnot; it'd be a good idea to keep a logbook of them online, so that I will always be able to access these thoughts of love anywhere around the world, anytime, provided there's internet of course ;)

So my new blog comes to life! And may it live long and prosper! ;)
